hello everybody! omg omg ytd was a very exciting day.
ok first in the morning my cousin asked: eh 3lectrico is playing today do u want to see?
cos they happened to stopover in LA after their music festival performance in austin texas.
and they know ppl from the singapore student association in USC so it was supposed to be this private affair in a bar
and i was expecting the place to be rlly glam and all even though the address was quite ulu: santa fe springs
so anw me and aynie were driving up and ALL we saw were warehouses and railroads and factories and we were like errrrr what kind of bar exists in this place
so we were reaching the end of the directions we had printed out when we drove past this jail-like looking building with neon lights that said "Senor Charlie's Bar and Grill" and i saw a few fat angmohs standing outside. then me and aynie were like. no lah cannot be this place keep driving. so we drove and drove and didnt see a soul in sight so i called my cousin who told us that YES it was that place
erm so my stupid pig of a cousin asked me to turn up earlier and of cos she wasnt there when i entered and i had to chope seats but i was q stupid cos i choped a table at the back. and then i discovered 3lectrico wasnt even there yet they were in little tokyo eating frozen yogurt -__-
so me and aynie sat and waited. then this woman came by passing out electrico badges and stickers and it turns out she was the band's manager. and she told us their trip had been v suay cos their first performance their guitarist jumped and broke his leg. and one lead singer broke his glasses. altho of cos thats better than breaking ur leg. then after that my cousin arrived and two seemingly strange men came to talk to us shortly after. but they were quite funny and friendly esp this little guy who was v short but v cute and looked like a mini-Wally cos he was wearing a striped sweater. and when he talks he gestures alot haha v cute.
then when the girl pianist came to join us OMG we realised we were talking to 3lectrico themselves HAHAHA. wa i love the little guy he's v funny. but he said he didnt believe me and aynie were 18 yet HELLO. and the girl is v v v v pretty and she said she had intended to study at USC before she joined the band but opportunity came a-knocking so she didnt but she wants to go study in london now
she also wants to dj so when i go back to sg lets go catch her dj-ing at some club in little india (?) !! they played for abt one and a half hrs only tho but at lst i got autographed cd i will sell to kenny for 1000 bucks. anw the lead singer also told this story abt how one american woman bought their cd but after she found out they were sporean she returned it which inspired their song we're not made in the usa
whoa then after that i went to my cousin's friend's house and we played king.
and i was gulping and gulping down my drinks and before i knew it i was puking into this huge pot and i filled like half of it -__- whoa i tell u the feeling is HORRIBLE. i felt like i was placed into a ball and kicked ard by giants playing soccer. anw everytime i got up i felt like puking so i ended up sleeping over. AND the two ppl slping next to me! mann... cant say here but i will tell whoever i talk to next online
