i have just decided on my new year's resolution! even though the new year passed very long ago.

i will work for my money this semester! and HOHOHO i just earned my first 30 bucks editing somebody's essay. althought that person haggled very badly trying to bring the price down to 20. how kiam. he's not even poor. haha but actually i would do that too. anw i think i might try to make a living editing other ppl's essays cos one of my friends does that and he charges 100/essay. which amts to a bloody lot. thats how he pays for all his branded goods. prepare for competition! cos i write better essays and charge less altho now i will raise the price to 50

actually i've been wanting to work for quite some time already.
so when u spend u feel happy instead of guilty.
which i feel almost everytime i go shopping.
yes yes and also cos my dad got wind that all of my friends work except me
and told me to get my lazy ass of my bed and get a job
of cos he didnt use those exact words
but when he learnt that aynie works 3 jobs when she doesnt even need the money
he was like look at aynie!
btw aynie's my friend in LA only berrie and ling have seen her before. at kbox.
where i cldnt sing my humps properly cos berrie kept interrupting

aiya okay so i'll be scouting for jobs
and then i have a yet-to-be-confirmed-one which only lulu knows about and i cannot blog here cos i might get deported!! agagaga

anw anw i must tell everybody abt my first working experience.
that time i only had like what one week left in sg so i was looking in the papers for those case by case jobs. or those offered on a daily basis. and i chanced upon starhub promoter.
yes as in the kind where u stand on the streets and give out flyers. and i had to talk about its new set-top box? whatever cant rmbr. but anw NO ONE BOTHERED TO TELL ME that i dont have a basic wage it was entirely commission-based. and of cos i didnt sell anything and so i didnt get paid at all. haha ok actually i shld have known on my own but i dont rlly mind cos i made a lot of v funny friends and we ate at newton hawker center after that and they interrogated me about my life cos actually i was a newcomer and they knew each other quite well. but seriously i was v impressed cos half the promoters were younger than me but they were v seasoned. i think e next time i go back i'll call them up

HAHAHA wow i was a bloddy delinquent worker. cos i kept leaving my post to buy ice cream and go to 7/11. i think delinquent workers are v funny. of cos if they work for u its not funny anymore but right now i think its funny. and then when i got tired i sat on the benches lining orchard road. oh dear actually i dont deserve to get paid. HAHAHA. then one time the big supervisor came and i saw him walking to me. OMG then i pretended to look v busy cos i thot he was going to scold me then he said: er ur dad wants me to check on u and if u want him to pick u up. woah i rlly died almost. then i said er no i will go home myself how paiseh hello.
and that wasnt all. in the beginning my dad accompanied me to see what the promoter thing was all about and he sat in the office and glared at everybody until he was sure they were not frauds. ok la he didnt glare but he was scanning the place haha nvm la i still love him
